- The ceiling insulation is is manufactured in SA, and Distributed by Sheeting Direct. It has a TYPE 1 classification.
- The standard width is 1200mm, we can however manufacture 750mm to accommodate the client’s requirements. The density of the material is 10.1kg/m³ which provide residential and commercial properties with the perfect temperatures during both winter and summer.

- Has a thermal resistance, also known as the ‘R” Value for different sizes (Refer to below box.)
- R-VALUE –All MATERIALS ARE RATED FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE IN RESTRICTING HEAT TRANSFER. This is expressed as the R- VALUE which is the measure of the materials resistance to heat transfer, alternatively known as thermal resistance. The higher the R- VALUE the greater the insulation effect.
Thermal Resistance
The resistance to heat transfer across a material. It is the mean temperature difference between two defined surfaces of a material under steady state conditions.
Bulk Insulation
Materials of low thermal conductivity, that mainly resists (slows) the transfer of conducted and convected heat, relying on pockets of trapped air within its structure. Its thermal resistance is the same regardless of the direction of heat flow through it and is proportional to its thickness.

National Building Regulations (NBR)
This Regulation “Energy usage in buildings” came into effect on 9 November 2011. All new buildings and extensions have to comply with the new Regulation. All new buildings and building extensions as per the building occupancy classes specified in the regulation will be required to have thermal insulation installed.

ALUBUBBLE White
White Alububble® is a superior performance radiant barrier material, simple to use and cost effective.
This product is manufactured using a modern sophisticated continuous laminating process which consists of a layer of low density Polyethylene air cells laminated on one side with MPET (foil) and on the bottom side with a white polyethylene layer which provides an aesthetically pleasing finish to the underside.
White Alububble® uses the thermos principal of providing a reflective barrier along with adjacent air space to keep the building cool in summer and warm in winter.
White Alububble® will not propagate fire and does not present a fire hazard when installed in a building.
